20 second sprint
10 second rest
Start by repeating this 4x consecutively. Gradually increase to 5, 6, 7 and 8x.
This can be done with normal sprints and with any of the machines listed above, plus the stair stepper, rower, etc. Jumping rope, jumping jacks, you name it.
This is a great way to reprogram your body by mixing it up. Studies show that fat burning continues long after the workout is done. Where steady state cardio stops burning fat once exercise stops. It’s takes 1/4 of the time and can be done anywhere.
